- Kemrock is a world leader in the production of lighting poles using the centrifugal casting process to serve the Indian market for the supply of lighting poles.
- Kemrock Poles have excellent electrical properties (no grounding is required) and high mechanical characteristics. The mechanical characteristics are superior to poles of traditional material both for tensile strength and elasticity.
- Kemrock Poles are manufactured in accordance with the standard test requirements of the customers.
- When requested, anti-flame additives can be mixed with resins during the production of the pole in order to increase the self extinguishing property level of the product.
- Thorough attention is given to the exterior surface of the pole which is perfectly smooth. The surface is covered with special non-woven organic veil protecting the pole from UV rays, as well as environmental and chemical attacks.
- “Weather-O-Meter” type of artificial ageing testes have been carried out in the laboratories. These tests have simulated a 25-year real exposure in our latitudes without any emerging of glass fibres or any decline in the mechanical characteristics. Therefore, Kemrock Poles represent a valid solution to problems caused by Salt, Smog, Weather Elements, Marshlands, Electrical Discharge and Temperature Fluctuation.

The advantages of installing Kemrock Poles are clear when compared to steel, concrete or wood.
Lightness
When all characteristics are equal, GRP Poles are much lighter than steel, concrete and wooden Poles. The lighter weight means lower installation and transportation costs. In shipping, the conical shape of the Pole allows insertion of one Pole into another which reduces the volume of the shipment by about 1/3 from that necessary for the poles to be carried separately.
Maintenance
Service for Kemrock Poles is almost nonexistent, since the construction of the Poles does not allow access by aggressive agents in the atmosphere. The Poles are thoroughly resistant to saline moisture in costal areas and cannot be affected by micro-organisms present on superficial layers of the ground. Kemrock Poles can almost be considered an unalterable product.
High mechanical characteristics
Due to centrifugal technology used to produce Kemrock Poles, it is possible to manufacture Poles with increased mechanical characteristics without changing the haesthetics of the pole. Thanks to low mechanical stiffness of the material, Kemrock Poles absorb a great amount of automobile accidents involving Poles, steel or concrete can increase traffic fatalities.
